Generosity is a Process - Lesson 8

Generosity is a process, we have seen some very clear steps for believers on the journey to supernatural generosity in Exodus 35 & 36. If we continue our journey, we find that the next principle is that over the top generosity doesn't just happen over night. Exodus says the people, both men and women, brought "freewill offerings" every morning.

What can we glean from this?

  1. The offerings were "freewill". The leaders made the need known, but no one twisted their arms.
  2. They came every morning. This was their "first fruits". This was first priority.
  3. This was a process. We don't really know if it took several weeks, several months or several years for the goals to be met.
  4. At the end of the process Exodus says, "So the people were restrained from bringing, for the material they had was sufficient to do all the work, and more."
Supernatural generosity is a process, so as a church leader what else do we need to understand.
